Easily make neat square onigiri with this simple rice ball mould. Fill the container with rice, press it firmly with the lid, turn the mould over, then press the centre of the base to release the onigiri.
The textured inner surface helps prevent rice from sticking. You can also layer rice, fillings and rice to make stuffed onigiri sandwiches, then wrap them with nori and cut them at different angles for attractive cross-sections.
